Manchester United stares at Lunin to replace Onana as the number one goalkeeper

Manchester United are keeping a close eye on Real Madrid back-up goalkeeper Andriy Lunin and if the La Liga giants are willing to let him go, the Red Devils could be on เล่น UFABET ผ่านมือถือ สะดวกทุกที่ ทุกเวลา the move to replace Andre Onana.

A report from ‘TeamTalk’ claims that United are planning to change their first-choice goalkeeper for the 2025-26 season as they no longer trust Onana and are considering Lunin on the shortlist. 

The 25-year-old goalkeeper has been instrumental in their bid to win La Liga and the Champions League in the 2024-25 season after Thibaut Courtois suffered a lengthy injury lay-off. 

Before the Belgian goalkeeper returned to fitness to guard the goal in the Champions League final, defeating Borussia Dortmund 2-0.

This season, Lunin has been a substitute goalkeeper for only 9 games in all competitions, keeping 4 clean sheets (conceding 12 goals). Which has made him hesitate about his future, even if he just extended his contract until the end of the 2029-30 season. The valuation is not less than 25 million pounds. 

United were previously report to be looking to sell Onana at the end of the season. Due to his inconsistent form since joining from Inter Milan for a staggering £43.8m plus £3.4m in add-ons in the summer of 2023.

However, Onana has no intention of leaving Old Trafford as he is still contracted to Manchester United until 2028.
